It's hard to justify putting dev/QA time into something like this if it'll barely be used. I think a flying mount would be cool but only if it was useful in some way. Plus, the collectibles aren't game-breaking, or even very interesting half the time. There's arguments to have against flying mounts, like controls, dev time being put elsewhere, etc. Hell, if you're brave or good enough you can go to a lot of places you shouldn't from the very start after the tutorial. The game already does a good job limiting where you can go through plot or placing enemies too strong to beat in certain areas. lol what an oddly specific complaint to have about this idea. without having to search a lot and especially in the new game + it would be too easy, I think. Sorry, flying mount is a no go, because you can use it to farm all metal flowers etc. Originally posted by Gichtpfote:sure, flying mount - so all the climbing fun that makes this game so easy for the ass. and allowing flying after the last mission is ridiculous: what was the point of developing the feature if it's not gonna have a use? Most people are gonna stop playing the game after the first story playthrough, and people who do continue (re)playing won't have access in the NG+ playthrough. You also have to create the riding animations, and then you gotta program the proper flying controls, and then you gotta test and retest to see what's the optimal camera angle for flight, and then more testing and retesting to make sure all the flying systems work together, and then more testing to make sure combat is still doable, and then you gotta make sure that the flying doesn't break the story. I already tested it, if you move out of the map, it warns you, if you go further, last save state will be loaded. If about avoiding bugs/glitches, make a error report reaction, IF, such as if the player goes over the map or do something that would lead to a gamecrash, load last save state, instead of crash the game. Originally posted by easy, make the flying mount avaible after certain mission, as example the last mission.Įasy programming, just add one IF to the code.
